We are currently staying here at the Krabi Tipa. What a lovely resort in a great location, just a short walk to the beach.. There are 2 pools ( plus a small kiddie pool), the main pool up the top of the resort has absolutely stunning views of the sea and surrounds. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the man who whizzes around on the golf buggy was my lifesaver always appearing when I was hiking up the steep driveway to our room , saving my legs everytime with a smile. The rooms we are in is comfortable and has air-conditioning, a mini fridge, a balcony and the bathroom shower is great. We have breakfast included in our package and there is a nice selection of food styles to choose from. I'd definitely book and stay here again. We are having such a nice time in Krabi and The Tipa resort has been a big part of that. I have no negatives to say about my stay.
We had a great experience at Krabi Tipa Resort. The services were excellent, the pool and buffet were wonderful, and the location is top-notch—right in the middle of the city and within walking distance to the beach. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have more vegetarian food options in the buffet. Other than that, everything was amazing!
NOT 4 STARS HOTEL!!!! This hotel was a complete disappointment. The photos are very misleading, the rooms are nothing like a quality resort. The first room (Deluxe) smelled terrible, bedding was stained, and there was constant loud noise inside the room. We were moved three times in one night, every room had noise issue, bad smell, and cheap, stained bedding. By the third move (Grand Deluxe) we were exhausted after a long flight, so we had no choice but to stay in another room with water system noise running all night. The bed smelled disgusting, the towels were old and smell of bleach, and the whole place felt damp and unventilated. Being asked to pay extra for an Executive suite just to have a decent room was insulting. Staff tried their best, but the problem is the hotel itself, filthy bedding, awful smells, constant noise, and terrible room quality. Avoid this place until they renovate and replace everything. I believe the good reviews it might be for the Executive rooms!
