Great family camping! Not everything open, cos of low season but we had a great time. 3 kids.
The campsite had clean facilities, cool playgrounds and super friendly staff but I had the worst camping experience while staying there due to helicopter hovering, landing and taking off twice overnight (between 2 and 3 am). It was insanely loud and most probably woke up a lot of people. The lake nearby had extremely dirty looking water — like mud — so I didn’t dare to let my kid play in it. Lastly, the restaurants in the area blasted music past 11 pm. No offence to the staff or owners, just sharing my terrible experience.
Rented a spot for a caravan. Extremely(!) loud music from 19 to 23, every night. Impossible to have a normal conversation outside, even hard to hear the TV in the caravan. No information about this when I booked. Pretty pricey for a spot on a lawn that feels like it's in the middle of a festival for drunk boomers. Showers cost extra.
