Kruger Gate Hotel

Kruger Gate Hotel was an incredible stay perfectly located right by the Paul Kruger Gate, making our safari adventures super easy. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and had beautiful views of the Sabie River where we could spot wildlife right from the balcony. The infinity pool overlooking the bush was amazing, and the food was delicious with a great mix of local and international dishes. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. It’s the ideal mix of comfort, nature, and safari magic. highly recommend!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Kruger Gate Hotel. The property is clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed a relaxing spa day and had fun at the mini golf course! The breakfast selection was wide and varied. The buffet-style dinner by the fire pit, with local singing and dancing, made the evenings feel so welcoming. The food was great! The pool and restaurant deck overlooking the field was the highlight for me—it’s their signature, in my opinion. It was really nice to see animals up close right from the hotel. We were very impressed by the hospitality and welcoming attitude of the staff, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d especially like to thank Mishack for being so attentive and taking such great care of us—you truly made a difference! We also booked our safari tour through the hotel. Our driver and guide, Enzo, was incredible! Thank you for helping us complete the Big Five—seeing the rhinos up close on our last day in Kruger National Park made it truly unforgettable. I’d highly recommend staying here. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable!

I stayed at this hotel via nhlalala travel to join a two-days safari in Kruger National Park. It really faces Kruger National Park. It's a really wonderful hotel with a view of the Kruger grounds from the pool and terrace restaurant. I was surprised that the hotel was cleaner and better equipped than I expected. It took about 5.5 hours by car from Johannesburg airport. The hotel room was spacious, had a bathtub, and was literally comfortable. Dinner was buffet style, and I was satisfied with the variety of dishes. There was also a show-like thing going on, which was very exciting. There was a barbecue? bonfire? so be careful after a shower as it smelled. The next morning we left at 5:30, so they prepared a breakfast pack for us, which we were able to eat during the safari break. It was a really wonderful hotel, and next time I would like to stay longer and enjoy the safari. I highly recommended it.
