Would recommend and would return for another stay. The only thing that would put me off returning is the amount of mosquitos that are in your room. Its mandatory that the door stay closed during cleaning and fridge replenishment however they still get in there! The staff are really amazing and we (my husband and i) had a truly relaxing time. We stayed on the quieter side of the hotel The Hacienda.

While the hospitality and people were amazing there were the odd issues that we kept having to deal with on certain days. Bed is comfy, the view is great and the staff are more than welcoming with the stay. However upon arrival the fridge didnt work and after 3 attempts to get them to replace it they finally did half way thru and the no kne would pick up the phone when we called the lobby multiple times only to have to walk down in the morning to get it resolved with my fractured foot..... Our shower door wouldnt stay closed or kept opening into the shower and kept hitting me while showering. The AC didnt seem to work well as it was still 25+ degree in our room and hard to fall asleep or sleepnin general. Despite the adult only pool area there were still kids there and were jumping in and out of the pool or being loud. We did not appreciate this as we are here to relax at that time and not be disturbed with the noise and splashing. Hence not being on the family pool side for a reason. Food was great most days. The only reason why most days is because the food out in the tray is gone and takes a while to get restocked and condiments/spreads were mostly empty and not restocked even early morning breakfasts leaving food to be undesired and cold after a while. And a couple of times we would ask for drinks when the waiter came up amd no drinks. So we would buy them at the store or drink the 1 or 2 flavoures offered in the room. The rest of the time our experience was a 10/10. Dont know if we will come back to this resort as me and the wofe talked about it in the begining but are rethinking due to to many things having to be requested and unfixed. We hear other resorts down the roaf who are much better for the same price so we might try there.

The hotel rooms are outdated, they look nothing like the pictures. They need repairs for the price they rent out. The pool waiters were very friendly. I enjoyed the activities they had throughout the day at the pool. I also enjoyed the shows at night, I just wish they lasted longer. I found inappropriate that some couples would be all over each other, kissing, and grabbing each other bodies at the pool, when there were a lot of kids around them swimming. The front desk could also be more friendlier.
