KTDC Samudra Resort

Absolutely loved our stay at KTDC Samudra!. The location is perfect right by the beach with stunning sea views and surrounded by nature. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a great escape from the city/fast paced life. The staff were amazing, always courteous and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. My son had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the open spaces and relaxed vibe. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and overall, the stay was very pocket-friendly for such a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers alike!

The location is the biggest highlight of KTDC Samudra..the view of the beach with blue waters and coconut trees is simply mesmerizing. It’s a government property, so you need to set expectations accordingly, but overall it’s value for money. The rooms had a bad smell, which was disappointing...we stayed in three rooms and all had the same issue. The pool also has a deep section (around 7.5 feet) with no warning signs, which is risky for kids and non-swimmers. Breakfast was good but the spread could be improved. On the positive side, the staff were polite and helpful, and the overall vibe of the place is relaxing and peaceful. Great views and helpful staff, but room maintenance and pool safety need attention.

We stayed there for 2 days.The rooms were neat and big.The staff were cordial.especially the cleaning staff and front desk.but there are stray dogs inside the compound. I have never seen such incidents in other resorts I have been to. We complained to the staff about the stray dogs, but still saw few dogs around. The food quality was really good.Tasted like home food, very tasty too.No unnecessary spices/ preservatives added. Also, the pool didn't look cleaned daily and didn't see any water filtering mechanism around.Some guests entered the pool without proper swim costume which the staff shouldn't allow.
