Kumarakom Lake Resort

Had a great time at the property. My sister got married at the property last year where we booked 25+ rooms and had guests come over from all parts of India. Everyone loved the property. Further before and after the marriage days we took our time to wind down as well in the quiet and peaceful surroundings with great views. Totally recommend for a good winding down time away from all the hustle bustle.

Date: 17 Aug After the initial goof up Kunarakom lake resort team (Aneesh, Akash, Sajeesh and Kavi) ensured we have a pleasent abd great stay. Food is great, services improved a lot and do get in touch with Kavi for Some great photographs. Date: 15 Aug Most of the things are fine with the property, however, when you pay more than 20k+ per night you want everything to be great. This is our first day of three night stay, we wanted to order couple of drinks and snacks near pool area and to our surprise pool bar is open only till 6 pm while swimming pool is open till 9. Additionally when asked if food can be served from other restaurant in property service guys said no. This is not only strange but poor experience from a property like Kumarakom lake resort. Additionally asked for room service (just lemon slices) at 3 pm in afternoon and havent received it till 9 pm after reminding and calling 3 times.

It's said to be a five star resort. Not worth the whole penny spend. Some of the staff are amateurish. Lots of mosquitoes during the night time and house flies are seen in the dining area. The sea food is good. Only ideal for foreigners who have not seen India 🇮🇳. If you lodge a complaint you can hear lots of apologies from them that they will take care of everything and will not be repeated
