Excellent accommodation for two people. Necessary amenities include a kitchen, spacious bedroom, and shower room. Friendly owner. Quiet location with restaurants within a 5 km radius. Supermarket 2.5 km away. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

We were looking for a vacation rental away from the hustle and bustle and found a piece of paradise in Southern Styria. The vacation rental, the furnishings, the host – it can only be described as authentic. The vacation rental's amenities and tasteful furnishings left nothing to be desired and bore the host's signature. You could enjoy breakfast outdoors at the edge of the forest, watching the squirrels gathering nuts, and in the evening enjoy wine on the terrace. A peaceful retreat with a large number of animals such as pheasants and deer, birdlife, and the evening calls of the owl. In the morning, we received a visit from Rudi, the Ridgeback, and the cat, both very friendly. The cultural and culinary offerings leave nothing to be desired. The many pilgrimage churches and wayside crosses tell many stories. The fried chicken at Hesch is a delight, the Brettljause (traditional snack) at the Buschenschank Dunkl (a local inn), and the pine schnapps is made by Grandma herself. At Bauernstadt in Feldkirch, you can find regional products, including Zach's pumpkin seed oil. In Bad Radkersburg, the Türkenloch is highly recommended; we enjoyed the boiled beef and bread dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms. Just a short distance along the Wine Route is the Gross Winery. We have a lot more to discover next time and are looking forward to this piece of paradise surrounded by meadows and forests in the middle of nowhere.
