Kuru

Absolutely stunning room! Was completely blown away! There are not enough positive adjectives for my room! On the lake and full wrap windows make the views second to none. Service was very good, but the van was not working for the shuttle service. Which meant carrying suitcases down many flights of stairs which could have been challenging for some. The various packages I booked were not clear in what was provided, in regards to how many nights you get to use the external sauna and hot tub which was 30 second walk from the room. Great experience overall and highly recommend!

Kuru is a beautiful escape! This resort and spa located 4 hours north of Helsinki is the perfect blend of northern delights with 5 star accommodations. The food is excellent! With a high regard for sustainability, they source locally and to create delectable dishes. Featuring a fine dining experience, a bistro restaurant, and a bar with takeout options, there's something for everyone. Breakfast can either be had in the main building enjoyed as a buffet or you can have it brought to your room. We inadvertently had it brought to our room, but it was a blessing in disguise. We otherwise slept until 1:00 pm, missing the buffet that ended at 11:00 am, and I can assure you, after sleeping in an incredibly cozy bed for 10 hours, we were famished! (life's tough /s). They have a ton of activities to get up to, even in the dead of winter. We would normally have partaken in everything, but being as sick as we were we stuck to our in room sauna, cold room, bedroom all over looking the lake. We only stayed for two nights, but we'll be back, and we'll be bringing our friends!

A nice place for retreat, quiet, and peaceful. The room looks nice. However, the service is not so good and if you do not use your promotion campaign “stay longer for better price”, I feel like around 300€/night is too much for this accommodation. They need some work to do to earn the luxury title for this place.
