Kuukum Tulum Hotel

Kukum Tulum Hotel was a dream. The staff was amazing and very attentive to our needs. Staff was very helpful and were always going above and beyond for us. The hotel itself was amazing. Very quiet and serene. I will definitely book again.

Disappointed in the room...what's the point of having a private pool room if I can't enjoy it?!?! It was filthy...like not cleaned or maintained at all They were working on the room next door (I can see pool & talked to the workers) & it was cleaner than ours. The pool & bar upstairs was being repaired...so I had no pool for my birthday vacation. The bottle of wine offered as advertised, was not given and I'd asked more than once. Although sofa-bed is available, there are no linens available. We asked for a cover/blanket of some sorts, we only received several sheets(staff doing their best to help).. The property is beautiful...the staff is A+, but I was so disappointed in the amenities...I've stayed in Tulum last year with private pool & really was looking forward to an even bigger pool. So it affected my vacation having NO POOL AT ALL! They staff was very polite and helpful to best of their abilities, I guess.

The hotel was a real disappointment for me. Booking shows it’s a 5 star hotel, but it’s definitely not even 4. The overall design of this place is quite okay, with a very nice garden. But the rooms and the corridors leading to them are not comfortable. One need to go through very steep and narrow staircase to get to the bedroom. Shower was not working properly, there was a problem with warm water and the water stream was very weak. The view from the bedroom was entirely blocked. The hotel is placed far from the city center and far from the beach. There is also very weak telephone signal and the WiFi is slow, so forget about internet access.
