We went there with very high expectations but it wasn’t like anything we expected!! Bathrooms were dirty.. windows were horrible like they are never maintained. Lights were not working in the room. They didn’t even allow us to sit beside the pool for breakfast. The location is also not good enough, it’s very difficult to get any auto or cab to go down for the market. As they don’t provide food for lunch or dinner. I thought this place will be memorable for our trip, yeah it’s memorable but not in a good way!

Date-09.03.2025 Honest Review of Kuwera Hotel – Extremely Disappointed I had high expectations for Kuwera Hotel based on the pictures posted on Booking.com, but the reality was completely different. From the moment we arrived, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. 1. Room & Cleanliness – The room was not well-maintained, and cleanliness was a major issue. I had specifically requested a room with a private balcony, as shown in the pictures, but what we got was dirty and lacked even basic seating. 2. False Advertising – The facilities promised were either nonexistent or in terrible condition. The pool was dirty, the rooms and washrooms were unclean, and basic amenities were missing. 3. Poor Service – Room service was practically nonexistent, and there was nobody available to assist us when needed. The food was far below standard, making the dining experience equally disappointing. 4. Dishonest Management – The manager, Charith, made several promises about the facilities, but they were all false. He assured us of a comfortable stay, but the reality was the opposite. His unprofessional approach only added to our frustration. Despite booking for two nights, we decided to check out after just one night due to the terrible experience. The charges were high for the poor quality of service and facilities provided. Not recommended at all! Do not trust the pictures or the promises made by the management.

Room ok. But washroom not that much good. No refrigerator. Electric kettle not washed since previous guest heated milk and until we informed them thay didn't noticed that. AC and water supply good. Pool is good but pool area not clean and safety. Main thing we have booked only the room and we try to get foods from hotel. But what they informed that kitchen has closed since chef was on leave. We faced huge issue with dinner and breakfast since it is a new year day, all the food shop has closed in kandy city. Quick service but they are not friendly.
