Kyo No Ondokoro Kamanza Nijo #2

Beautiful apartment worth the extra cost. We looked at other options on Airbnb which were cheaper, but the quality of design and finish made this place a memorable and enjoyable place to stay. Very close to Nijo Castle which has a great tour and a short walk to the markets. Great little coffee shop (Imaya kyoto coffee) just down the street worth a 3 minute walk for a quality coffee everyday too.

I thoroughly enjoyed Yoshifumi Nakamura's seriousness in renovating! My mother, aunt, and I used it. Everything was great and it felt good to the touch. In particular, the bath (egg-shaped Takano Maki) was so comfortable that I stayed in it as long as time allowed (lol) By the time we left, all three of us thought, ``I don't want to go home yet.'' I would like to stay for consecutive nights if possible. Also, the front desk staff was wonderful. *The ``Tanuki Udon'' of ``Udon Tonoda'' was introduced to us at lunch, and the atmosphere was also good. thank you very much!

I stayed here with my friend and my daughter. I really liked the round wooden bath! Amenities were minimal due to SDGs initiatives, but there were plenty of kitchen supplies, so I had an enjoyable stay. There was a book in the library in the garden that listed bakeries in Kyoto, and it listed a bakery nearby, so I went there. Flip up! Your bagel was so delicious! I also liked that since I rented out the entire building, I could order Uber Eats or bring in take-out food from a nearby restaurant, which I wouldn't be able to do at a normal hotel. There were no hairbrushes, so women should bring their own. THREE has shampoo etc., but please be aware that there are no disposable amenities such as makeup remover and cotton swabs other than toothbrushes. There is a Family Mart and a Seven store nearby, so you can buy it. It's quite a distance from the station.
