Top class hotel. We stayed here in the Executive room for 5 nights while visiting Kyoto and it was excellent. The staff outside and inside the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I also have to say they go above and beyond to help you with your stay. The rooms are clean and well presented, and the cleaning is spotless. Our room even had a view to the outside rock garden on the 3rd floor which was a lovely touch. There is also a free shuttle bus service that gets you a bit further south to a train line which is helpful to either start your day exploring via those routes, or walk east to the shopping district if needed. I would definitely stay here again when visiting.
Perfect hotel for our family of four while exploring Kyoto. We especially enjoyed the location close to the imperial garden and were able to do most of our excursions on foot. Lovely service and good restaurant options.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful, and helped us navigate the city whenever necessary. Nijo castle is a short 20 minute walk away, and if it's raining, the staff allows you to borrow umbrellas if necessary. The hotel has a shuttle that takes you close to the Karasuma Oike station. The toiletries included a wide variety of cosmetics and pain patches that were very relaxing.
