Good value. All clean and Tidy . Staff were helpful. Sadly restaurant was closed when we stayed so had to walk into town for evening meal.

Excellent for business travellers and extended stays. Large spacious rooms finished to a very high standard with generous storage. Clean, modern bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Only point that slightly lets it down is the breakfast offering: rather standard generic pastries and yoghurts you find in most European hotels now.

Avoid room 117. When booking, we requested a quiet room. We were assigned the only room in the hotel that is immediately above the restaurant and also faces the busy crossroads. The night receptionist assured us that all the rooms were quiet - so not true. We were too tired to go back to reception and argue. This is a relatively new hotel on the outskirts of Pau that should have 3* not four, similar to the Ibis Styles operated by Accor. I would have given this hotel a four star rating, but I deduct one point for not respecting customer preferences and lying during check-in.
