Kyriad Prestige Vannes Centre Palais Des Arts

The hotel is nice and pretty calm, staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. They served mostly local foods like crepes, cheese, and far breton, Id recommend it. The little down side is the location, if u don't have a car or bike it a bit far from the city center (abt 25min walk). There is a bus you can take for 1.5 euro though. Great experience overall.

Service is friendly, attentive and accommodating. The staff was very welcoming and warm. The hotel itself is modern (rooms have Chromecasts which I think is a great value add), has a decent gym (elliptical, rower, bicycle, treadmill and resistance bands - you can get a good workout) and the breakfast is really good (both varied and items are cooked with care - the scramble eggs were truly delicious). Good value for money and good location.

The rooms are nice, though the location is absolutely not "Vannes Centre" being located some way from the centre (€25 in a taxi). However service left much to be desired. I reserved 4 rooms for one person per room at this hotel. On arrival we checked in and I was charged €32 for two breakfasts. When I questioned this I was told that my room was for two persons so that was the price. I told the receptionist that there was only one person in the room and she insisted I had booked for two. Eventually she agreed not to charge my friend in another room for breakfast but I discovered that every room had been charge €4 tourist tax which is for two persons. I showed her my reservation confirmation which clearly said "1 adult" but she refused to refund the €2 that each of the 4 rooms had been overcharged. I was really disappointed in the intransigent attitude shown by the receptionist (I think she was the manager) and her refusal to reduce the tourist tax charge to one person per room.
