Big traditional onsen style room and need to use the public bath. Specious room with great view of mountain and lake. There is also a terrace with closeup view of the lake and Mt Fuji with wonderful views during sunrise and sunset. Great variety of breakfast and dinner buffet. kudos to the staff for helping to keep an item I’ve dropped during dinner. One of the best Mt Fuji views from hotel for my current Japan trip

This Onsen Hotel is situated far from the madding crowds and surrounded by tranquility. Perched on the shores of Lake Tanuki, it boasts one of the best views of Mt Fuji which I marvelled at in the comfort of my own room. Even its public bath has an unobstructed view of the lake shore and the mountain. This place is outstanding, and if the intention is just to get away from it all and just bask in the beauty of Mt Fuji and its surroundings, then there is no better than Kyukamura Fuji.
