Room - Clean, bright and wide. And big compliment to the House Keeping Ladies, they're very friendly and helpful. Internet speed - Good Breakfast - Everyday same, less choice. P/S : maybe I'm Asian our breakfast has more varieties, please excuse me only my personal opinion. Dinner - Taste good Hera Hour - I am a big fan of orange croissants. Its really good Housekeeping and Restaurant Staffs are friendly and polite but Front Desk customer attention have to get more improved. I wanted to give a compliment to the Hotel Public Relations Manager Ms Francesca, received my feedback and she quickly came over and attended to my uncomfortable situation. Overall, others all well. Especially Hera Hour and Francesca, thanks for your appreciation.
We reserved this place for the New Year’s party in a family friendly location. The rooms were nice and well kept, with ample space for a family of four. The structure was a little bit dated, but the spa was relaxing and very family friendly. Where I felt l’Araba Fenice came up short was the food. Solid breakfast, but not as fresh as others I have had in southern Italy. The new year’s dinner was a 7 out of 10, with a few of the courses being good the but the rest lackluster. The music and dancing were a lot of fun though.
We can certainly recommend the restaurant at the L'Araba Fenice Hotel & Resort in Altavilla Silentia. We found the hotel by accident: after renting a car in Salerno and heading for Materna it was getting late and we needed a hotel. By chance we found L'Araba Fenice Hotel in the web. It is located in some 13 km from the highway but seemed most suitable for us. We got a spacious room with a very reasonable price (in November). We came late and it was raining, so we did not have time to enjoy the modern and nice looking resort, but when we went for dinner the quality of the restaurant and the food really gave a surprise - it was excellent. And the same continued at breakfast, which was really good. Also the service in the hotel was friendly and we managed great in English. Thank you L'Araba Fenice :-)
