L Hôtel du Collectionneur Paris

Charming Stay in the Heart of Paris I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel du Collectionneur, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—just a short walk from major landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Seine, yet tucked away on a quiet, charming street that offered a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived. They spoke excellent English, provided great local recommendations, and made me feel at home throughout my stay. My room was beautifully decorated in a classic Parisian style—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the prompt response to our request for a room change due to a few bugs. A special thanks to Christophe, the Deputy Duty Manager, for not only accommodating us with a better room but also going the extra mile by sending a lovely treat to help us celebrate our anniversary. It made our stay truly memorable. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh pastries, fruit, and excellent coffee. Overall, this hotel is a gem for anyone looking to experience the magic of Paris with comfort, charm, and exceptional hospitality. I would happily return and recommend it to friends and family.

This hotel is the FURTHEST thing from 5 star. Starting off, we paid 180 euro to have a bottle of champagne and rose petals in the room before we arrived. We get there and they’re not in the room- disappointing but can be fixed. This was a surprise for my wife since this is our honeymoon, so I let the hotel know and we leave for an hour so they can fix it. We get back and there is someone still in the room with the flower petals half done and she hands us the bag and says we can finish it if we would like to and that someone would come by later with the champagne. This is frustrating as we left and gave them plenty of time to resolve the service we paid for which I explained to the manager and they offered a 50% discount and to do extra that night. The extra ended up being some tacky foil heart balloons and two small bottles of juice and a piece of cake….. could not be farther from any 5 star experience. When I expressed that I would like a full refund they felt like they had put in extra effort and we did not deserve a full refund. Very disappointing considering we were expecting great service as posted all over the website. I would warn anybody to not stay here if you’re expecting halfway decent service. Still shocked they would not refund us the 180 euros when that seemed like the least they could do.

If you’re looking for rest, comfort, look elsewhere. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free. I specifically asked for and was promised a quiet room — instead, I ended up in what felt like the middle of a construction site. Constant noise, banging, pumps running and absolutely no sound insulation. Loud noises all night. Sleeping was nearly impossible. Comfort clearly isn’t a priority here. I will say the breakfast is good and starts at 6:30. The desk is helpful but if I can’t sleep because of the loud noise then I really can’t stay here. You can find a lot better hotels a lot cheaper in Paris.
