Looking for a cozy afternoon with the girls at a spa, we discovered this magnificent estate. Two luxury hotels nestled in a sublime natural setting, with a short walk to reach the Spa de l'orée du Bois, open to the outdoors. All the classics are there, clean and well-appointed: large whirlpool, sauna, hammam and salt wall, but also a more original room, inviting you to a mud treatment in complete autonomy. Excellent time shared with family, we left ultra zen :)
Perfect one night stay in every way! I totally disagree with some of the comments... The welcome was great, the staff very helpful and kind, the room just magnificent with the jacuzzi and sauna! The outdoor space with the small heated swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the sauna was really a plus during this period. We will come back with great pleasure
Nice place, but service barely worthy of a 3 star. Damage. The hotel proudly displays its 4 stars, and on a strictly “physical” level, it fulfills them: spacious room, pleasant outdoor swimming pool, facilities present… but without soul or real attention paid to the customer. For €300 per night (non-promotional rate with breakfast for 2 people for the best room), we expect something other than such minimalist service. The sticking points: • No coffee machine, not even a bottle of water on arrival. • The mini-bar is empty, and remains empty even after complaints. • You are offered a bottle of wine in an offer, but nothing to nibble with, and all room service is extra-charged (+10€ room service for an aperitif board). • No bathrobes or slippers, except for an additional charge. • Faded plastic petals on the bed: cheap effect guaranteed. • Jacuzzi remote control HS, + television unusable for Netflix or other platforms. • No soap in the shower cubicle, only large bottles placed on the edge of the sink. • Improper cleaning, visible traces and neglected details. And above all, no basic attention to customer comfort: • To get water, you have to take an empty carafe up to reception, after taking the electric cart. Result ? I ended up drinking the water from the bathroom sink. • Need a tissue? No tissues in the room: obliged to use toilet paper. • No cotton swabs, no small courtesy kits. To this, the nice lady at reception who only repeats the instructions, nothing against her, explains that the absence of hygiene kits (tissues, accessories, etc.) would be linked to an ecological approach. In principle, why not. But today there are many environmentally friendly alternatives, which have not been implemented here. This therefore looks much more like a disguised savings logic than a real ecological desire. And in all cases, it is the customer experience that directly suffers. Bottom line: If you're not looking for any special attention, this may be fine. But here, we are satisfied with the bare minimum to maintain a ranking, without trying to offer a 4-star experience worthy of the name. Too bad, because the site and the equipment have real potential which is simply not being exploited.
