Great host, great restaurant, only that they close at 1630, no dinner at all, no place near by, great Mediterranean looking place and rooms, great water pressure, small parking but all went well
Stayed here when I visited Cuernavaca for a wedding. The location was quite close to the downtown and we were able to walk to the city centre in about an hour. The room was very spacious and had a view of the garden. The bathroom and main room had mold along the ceiling and walls as the ventilation in the room was quite poor which resulted in waking up with a slight respiratory irritation in my nose and throat. The pool was lovely, albeit cold. I do recommend the hotel however be cautious of mold.
Noisy rooms: Unfortunately, having the constant water pump noise every 10 seconds made it impossible to rest in the room. It was like having a drill in the room. I asked to have it disconnected and I was told they would stop it by 6pm, but once they left it on overnight, the other times I had to remind them to switch it off and their attitude was of annoyance. Pool area: The pool area is covered by flowers attracting bees which led to me being stung by it, these flowers falling from a tree next to the pool are only sweeped once a day in the morning, and by the afternoon the pool area is covered in bees. Contaminated pool: My son was playing in the pool and accidentally swallowed some water which was contaminated because minutes later he fell ill with high temperature, throat infection, headache and stiff neck, he was prescribed antibiotics to fight the infection. Wifi: NONE of the three wifi connections I was given worked in any of the 4 rooms we used. The only place with good connection was a small area in the dining room. Room service: we had to request shower gel and toilet paper in one of the rooms. Payment: we were asked to pay when we checked in, which makes me think, with all the bad service they provide, they cannot risk people not paying the bill in full. Shocking service and attitude for them to believe they didn't owe me a refund of some sort. It will be very difficult for me to trust the positive reviews shown on this platform. Never again.
