Location is prime if you are looking to stay close to river north- one block away from the river. It is walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and magnificent mile. This was our summer retreat, family of four and a puppy, they were very friendly with our puppy, even giving us a pet welcome kit with a water bowl and directions to the closest relief area. Regarding rooms , we stayed in a two bedroom suite, nice view to the river, and updated bathroom (new tiles). Be aware that it is two blocks away from the train station, just in case you are sensitive to train noises. One highlight is the staff , they are very friendly and doing their best to supply you with whatever you need to have a great stay. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are back to Chicago.
Like others I didn’t want to write a review as we don’t want this to become known by everyone but they did such a great job during our stay. The valet and bell team greeted us and welcomed us in a way we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Front desk took great care of us and were very helpful and informative. The room was outstanding. Family travel meant we took a corner suite and we could not have been happier. The room was beautiful with a fantastic view of the river and the Chicago skyline. The team was amazing throughout our stay and we look forward to staying on our next trip to Chicago.
Room with a City view is a must. You need to ask to make sure you get a room with one of those daybeds. For me and my cat, we found it to be a superior experience. Very nice finishes in the room. Nice crown moulding. Thoughtful amenities. Mostly quiet throughout my stay. Only negative was the maid coming into the room...I was napping and she just keyed in after a loud TAP on the door. It was around 500pm. I was booked for another night. Awkward.
