La Badia Di Orvieto

The hotel is beautiful and set in an old monastery, so quite historic. The rooms are good and spacious too. The views around are beautiful. The hotel has a good breakfast spread, but not too many more food options for lunch/dinner, but then Orvieto town has so manu restaurants. The staff was helpful and polite The location is very beautiful but unless one has a car, it's a bit complicated. Taxis are slightly sparse and need to be booked in advance. Overall a great place to stay.

A unique structure of its kind. It offers you the opportunity to live a night in the Middle Ages. The halls, the tower, the courtyard. Elegantly renovated. Waking up in the morning with the view towards Orvieto is very nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Also very nice to have breakfast in the garden. I would like to suggest possibly a breakfast of a more appropriate level to the rates applied and to the quality of the structure. Definitely a romantic place to make stops to visit the many beauties of Orvieto and its surroundings.

Whilst it was a beautiful venue, the service and cleanliness was extremely poor. The floor in our room was filthy and my feet went black walking around in our room. No room cleaning was provided and our aircon kept being switched off. They also sneakily added on extra charges to my stay. Food was overpriced for quality provided.
