La Boutique

This place exceeded our expectations. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There's a small fridge in the room and tea and coffee making facilities (but you need to bring your own supplies).The bathroom is also clean with nice fixtures. The hotel is very close to city centre. If one is reasonably fit, one can walk to the centre or it's a couple of stops on the underground. If the room is in the other building, that's about 5 minute walk from the main building. This wasn't a problem for us and it was clear at the time of booking that we were going to be in the other building. That building is a little further from the tube but a few steps from the bank of river Vltava which offers beautiful walks. The breakfast was lovely - wide selection of cooked or cold items, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, teas, coffees. The staff at the reception were lovely, always had time for a chat and willing to help. For €25/night this was a bargain. I'm sure there are nicer hotels with more luxurious rooms but not at this price. Value for money this is 11/10.

La Boutique Hotel is in a great location – close to everything we needed. We got a room at the top floor, which felt like a converted attic with slanted ceilings. It was clean and comfortable, but a bit pricey for what it was. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Slightly out of town so was quiet in the evenings, however you need to get the tram or a taxi in and out of the centre. The weather was very hot when we visited and the climate control in the room wasn't very powerful so it was hard to cool down and get comfortable. The facilities in the room were fine and the bathroom was lovely. Very comfortable bed too. Service wasn't overly friendly but nothing to complain about.
