Everything was great. The house is spectacular, and Manuel was very attentive at all times. Everything is clean and has beautiful views. The town is very pretty, and there are many hiking trails. For future guests, if you plan to work remotely one day, please keep in mind that there is hardly any coverage, and the house doesn't even have Wi-Fi.

Preciosa casita en Sotres ideal para dos personas. Nueva, limpia y con una decoración exquisita. La cama es enorme y muy, muy cómoda. Tiene un pequeño patio exterior con una mesita, ideal para comer en verano. Cerca de la casa hay un mirador-merendero con unas vistas espectaculares. Fácil aparcar, además de la plaza del pueblo, hay un parking público un poco más adelante, se llega en 2 min. Manuel, el propietario, muy detallista, nos dejó unos regalos de bienvenida. Muy recomendable, nos ha dado mucha pena irnos. Volveremos.

Rent the cabin for 2 nights through Airbnb. The night before entering, my wife started experiencing Covid symptoms and we decided not to go. We spoke with the host of the cabin and after explaining the situation, he informed me that the cancellation policy does not allow refunds and that he is not willing to change the dates of the stay. He offers us to cancel (without any refund) and that if someone books he will refund our money. Finally, as the symptoms did not stop, my wife took a test and was positive for COVID-19. By informing the host again and letting him know that by not coming, we have also protected his home and the health of the next guests, we asked him if he could help us in some way, either financially or with a new date in the future, to which he literally responded: "If I collaborate with you and you collaborate with me when it comes to paying the mortgage at the end of the month." Followed by similar phrases… I think that for our part we have done the same to maintain the safety and well-being of future guests and in return not only have we not received the refund or change of dates but the host adheres to a cancellation policy that, according to Airbnb, depends solely on the host... In short, we have thrown €178.00 in the trash. A shame, because the cabin really looked very good and we would have loved to enjoy it…
