We upgraded to Chateau Chamonix after many years at a different complex. Couldn't be happier with our decision. Chateau Chamonix is top notch. It's got a super convenient ski in/ski out location, and is walkable to the base. The ski and boot rooms offer convenient storage and easy access to the mountain and gondola. I love that they offer fresh donut holes every morning, and I look forward to my post-ski hot drink (hot chocolate, tea, or spiced cider). The entire staff is warm and friendly. We've stayed in 2 different units and they were both well-appointed with high-end finishes. IMO best place to stay in Steamboat!
Perfect location! Wonderful staff! You feel right at home, except you’re overlooking skiers and a beautiful mountain!
Our experience at Chateau Chamonix was absolutely wonderful. It has a great, quiet location, our unit was clean, spacious and well-equipped (especially the kitchen). The pool and hot tub were relaxing, parking was easy, elevators with luggage racks, and lots of space and lockers for ski equipment. We especially appreciated the above and beyond customer service of Al Choy, the front desk manager. He was always smiling, very knowledgeable and helpful and assisted us with anything we needed during our stay. All of this combined has really made our spontaneous trip up to Steamboat very memorable. We will absolutely be returning to Chateau Chamonix in the future!
