La Casaccia Guelfi

Our stay in La Casaccia Guelfi was amazing! Laura was incredibly hospitable, always willing to give us local advice to help us enjoy our week-long stay in her fabulous apartment. The property itself suited our needs admirably – the rooms were well-equipped, tastefully furnished appropriate to the age of the property and the solid stone walls meant that they stayed cool against the heat of the day. The views from the apartment and the well-maintained, hillside swimming pool were the stand-out features. The sunrises in particular were absolutely breath-taking. It is situated about twenty-five minutes’ drive from Siena, so we were able to enjoy the tranquil Tuscan countryside, whilst maintaining easy access to the city as well as many Chianti vineyards. The local village of San Gusmè – in walking distance – and the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga – ten minute drive – offered a wide range of delicious, Tuscan food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment and hope to return soon!

Really nice, traditional place to stay and visit Tuscany. The quiet of the village let you rest after the trips. Verrrrry nice owner, Laura, thank you for the opportunity to spend a week in your lovely guest house :) The flat has everything we needed. And we loved the style, old ceilings, floor, fernitures. It was never hot inside. And this terrific view! Oh, Adamo... We will miss this lovely place...!

Accommodation located in a dream location in Tuscany. Surrounded by an olive and vine estate away from any noise, with a swimming pool that offers a beautiful view. It is close to San Gusme, a very charming village. The owner very friendly and helpful.
