La Digue is a very beautiful island. Our accommodation La Digue Self-Catering Apartments was close to the jetty. That's what we wanted because shops and ATMs are nearby. The view from our balcony was fantastic. Great sunsets, the sea and people on bikes down the street. The accommodation was very clean, probably recently renovated and was well furnished. The bathroom and large shower are great and very clean. Sufficient cupboards and storage space in the living area. Cosmetic corner for beauty. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge and absolutely sufficient for self-catering. Large ice compartment that freezes well. The balcony is large with the best view. Recommendation for a good Thai massage: La Digue Holiday Thai Massage & Spa. Unfortunately, construction is going on everywhere on La Digue to accommodate even more tourists. And unfortunately, hordes of day-trippers arrive at the boat pier every day, eager to take their selfies on the famous beaches.

My sister and I enjoyed the cleanliness and beauty of the design and layout of this lovely self-catering apartment. It was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go, in a short period of time. From amazing views of boats in the Indian Ocean to the pedestrians and cyclists on the road down below, we felt we were in a special place. I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Digue Self Catering, and I'd like to share my experience with this accommodation. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and spacious. It had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, toaster, and kettle. The room featured efficient air conditioning and a lovely, spacious balcony with a drying rack and two seating areas. The strong Wi-Fi connection was a definite plus. The bed was comfortable and spacious, providing a good night's sleep. The bathroom boasted a reliable, powerful, and warm shower. The check-in process was smooth, and during check-out, we were allowed to leave our luggage temporarily, enabling us to enjoy the beach for a few more hours. Conveniently, there's a spacious and reasonably priced supermarket (Farish) located below the complex, which added to the overall convenience of our stay. Bicycle rental shops were also close by, making it easy to explore the island. It's worth noting that the building consists of two complexes, so finding the exact location can be a bit tricky. Following the signs for 'Mills Complex' is advisable, as Google Maps may lead you to a different location. There's also an ATM nearby, and the location by the harbor is ideal. There are plenty of dining options in the vicinity as well. All in all, La Digue Self Catering offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for your stay on the island.
