The room and stay here was fantastic! It was a large room and has a huge cool shower that could easily fits two people. It's located close to all the best sites and restaurants and the service is great! The check in was a bit confusing because they kept asking for an exact time for arrival, and when I said I could be there at 4:45 to accommodate their schedule, they replied with "ok, see you at 5, 5:30". Maybe something was lost in translation on WhatsApp. Also the room got fairly bright in the mornings and i couldn't block out the light, even though the front door had a blackout over most of it, there was still a window above the let in a fair amount of light and made it hard to sleep well. But those are small things that did not ruin my stay, I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Stayed in the family room, two levels, bedroom at top bathroom and sitting area below. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast be had, you preorder when you arrive. Room was comfy, my wife loved the mattress. Shower was good and got you clean. It's close to restaurants and situated above the Sassi so it's a trot down and back to see the sites.

It is a cozy room build inside a cave and in the historic Unesco part of Matera . They have 5 different suites. A couple of the suites have jacuzzi. All unique in its own design. It is indeed a nice experience to actually stay in this historic town :) Wonderful people working there at the reception. They take pride of this property and very happy to share the history of the suites.
