Room was clean and big enough for 2 people. The service is great, everyone is very helpful. AC works perfectly (important these days). Breakfast was delicious, very good croissant. Location was also very convenient.
Very friendly and nice staff Great central location Pastries based breakfast with coffee and juices Next to metro stop Mergellina I had to go with my family to begin with but had some complications and Franco (the host) showed a lot of flexibility about it which was very much appreciated. Of course there is always room for improvement in some details but overall very good price and quality wise.
The staff was helpful or at least tried to be. Unfortunately the overall experience was not good. Somehow my reservation received from Priceline / booking.com ended up being for the wrong room so we ended up having two single beds and a small double bed for 5 people. Hence we probably averaged about 2 hours of rest. That's just the start. Here is our experience: 1. Dirty Room 2. Dirty Bathroom, Period Blood from former guest still stuck to rim of toilet bowl... 3. Ants all over the floor and ants inside the refrigerator 4. Dirty sheets and pillows 5. Extraordinarily loud - constant honking and yelling until things finally calm down at about 2 AM 6. Bugs biting us all throughout the night (windows closed). I don't believe these were bed bugs because the bite areas are larger but nonetheless we left with a ton of bite marks on our legs, arms and backs. 7. No hot or warm water whatsoever. I mean not in the sink, not in the shower even after minutes of letting it try to warm up. Nothing says awesome like a nice ice cold shower. This room with the taxes and fees was €120 and it wasn't worth half of that. Breakfast was ok. Just assorted Cornetto, coffee and juice. Enough to get by. Positive note - it's walking distance to the US Consulate. Being honest here I would never even consider staying at this place again even if I had to revisit the US consulate which was the primary reason for selecting in the first place.
