My family has stayed at Chateau La Mer ll multiple times now. It's a nice quiet, family-friendly community. Beach is a short walk, maybe 5 minutes. Very walkable to restaurants near by. The condos I've stayed in have been nice and clean, it's like home away from home. It has definitely become my go to place to stay at while visiting Destin. Units have pretty much everything you need to cook when you decide to stay in, washer and dryer, porch and back patios. There is also a playground for the little ones to play, a pool, and even a nice area if you'd like to grill out. The grounds are well kept. I've had no complaints, minus when I have to pack up and leave back to Kentucky.

I rented a condo here for a week in June! I love this place. It’s conveniently located only a short walk away from the beach. You also have access to a pool staying here. The quiet times were perfect and appreciated (and everyone respects the quiet time too).. It’s near everything needed downtown and I had no issues getting stuff delivered here - whether it was a food or groceries. My only con is that the outside of the buildings do need some maintenance work. You can tell they do not have someone working on the buildings / grounds regularly… or at least, it seems that way.

It's a quiet development. A little hike to the beach access. Wish there was a wash off area closer to the beach. Our condo was well stocked prior to checking in they let us know the washer and dryer was not working and they had new ones delivered the next day. Propriety manager Richard was great!!!
