The team is amazing. They are super friendly. The rooms are decent and are of the upper standard. For 225€ we found this to be alright. The garden is beautiful and the pool is cooling. Onsite parking is free and there are several electric vehicle chargers on site with a decent ad-hoc payment system for 0.39 cents per kWh. We were welcomed with our dog as there was a dog bowl and bed when we arrived in our room. Very nice! I do not recommend the massage option. It's off-site in the village next door.

The meal at La Ferme Chapouton was one of our best in France! We shared the rack of lamb specialty, carved at the table in style , delicious gravy and dauphinois potato each . Pared with some delightful local reds all the while with the Grignan castle in full view. We loved it all Kevin and Hayley - Perth West Australia

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with dietary restrictions. Despite its high-end setting, the service was surprisingly slow. We waited quite a while after being seated before having to ask for menus and to place our drink order. I have a gluten intolerance and found the staff to be poorly informed about gluten-free options. There was only one dish on the menu I could potentially eat. I checked with the staff, who reassured me it was gluten-free even though it was listed as containing spelt, which is not gluten-free. Despite my doubts, they insisted it was safe. When the dish arrived, I was still unsure based on the texture and appearance. I asked again, and was reassured once more, but I remained uncomfortable. I requested to see the packaging to verify the ingredients myself, but it was never brought to me. No one followed up to check on me either, which felt dismissive. To add to the frustration, when bread was brought out for the table before the mains, I asked if they had gluten-free bread. They did but it was served to me 45 minutes later, after the main courses had already been cleared. I also ordered tea with dessert that never arrived. While the food itself was good and the setting beautiful, the service was unacceptably poor, especially considering the price point. I’ve never felt so overlooked as someone with dietary needs. There was no sense of care or concern from the staff, and overall, the experience was disappointing.
