La Fornella dell'Anita

Located a short distance from Florence, La Fornella dell'Anita was a really beautiful place to stay. One of the reasons we chose this place was to have Anita and Francesco's meals and we enjoyed a happy Italian home-cooked course, which was just as we expected. It was amazing that it was all homemade and I was happy to have this experience in such a quiet and stunning view💛 The property was also spacious, clean, well organized and had a lovely interior. The pool is also perfect, clean, spacious and beautiful. We were also greeted by two cute puppies every day. Thank you so much to the family of La Fornella dell'Anita for their kindness to the end! I will definitely go back next time!

A magical place. Francesco and Anita are incredibly warm, generous and attentive hosts, the food they serve is delicious, and the property is beautiful, with a great pool and lovely views over the Arno valley below. It's a great base for exploring Florence, Arezzo and the Chianti region, and our family (me, my wife, and our two three-year-old daughters) had a wonderful week-long stay. We will be back!

We had a wonderful evening at Francesco's. He and his wife Anita are great hosts! The menu was a dream. A delicious fresh salad, homemade ravioli, stuffed turkey and the best tiramisu I have ever eaten. All fresh ingredients, some from their own garden. To finish, there was a delicious homemade limoncello with lemons from the tree next door. Thank you for the homemade fig jam and the wonderful evening with you! We will always remember the evening and the delicious food. 😊🍷
