La Grange

A Perfect Weekend Getaway – Well-Deserved 5 Stars "La Grange" is aptly named: it's the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. Just 40 minutes from home, we were looking for a place to unwind from everyday life, and this cottage was a true haven of relaxation. We spent two nights there in January, a pure joy despite a rainy weekend. The accommodation is spacious, tastefully decorated, and exudes a real sense of well-being. The small massage chair, the Bluetooth speaker, and the underfloor heating (a real treat in winter, especially after a Nordic bath!) are all details that make the experience truly enjoyable. Among the features we particularly appreciated: the two toilets, one of which is upstairs, and the bathroom directly in the bedroom, which provides real comfort. And above all, the Nordic bath, perfectly heated and very comfortable, was one of our favorite moments. We do have a few suggestions to make the experience even more perfect: When we arrived in the rain, we would have liked to enjoy the hot tub the first evening, but the retractable roof pergola was loose, making it difficult to shelter properly. Fortunately, the weather improved the next day. I hope this has since been repaired. A sound bar in the bedroom would be a real plus to improve the TV's audio quality, especially for those who love good sound like us. The bed was okay, but we expected a little more comfort given the overall quality. Finally, in winter weather, bringing flip-flops (or even asking to bring them) would be a nice touch when leaving the hot tub. The owner is very responsive in communication, even though he was unable to come due to the pergola issue. We've already planned to return soon for another weekend getaway, which is how much we loved it. This place is truly the result of superb renovation work, combining charm, comfort, and disconnection. Super séjour à la Grange. Magnifique maison rénovée tout en gardent me charme de l'ancien. Le cadre est vraiment parfait. Pas de vis à vis à l'extérieur. Les chambres sont vraiment hyper jolie. Et Julien, l'hôte, est très réactif et sympa. Je vous recommande la Grange si vous avez envie de vous évader quelques temps.

Excellent experience at Julien's. The barn is perfectly furnished with great taste. The living room is really very pleasant. The Nordic bath is a real plus. We ordered a board from “la verre vagabonde” the whole board is really quality. The “optional” breakfast is perfect, just what you need. A big thank you to Julien. We will come back with great pleasure
