La Kolorina is a beautiful rustic hotel in the hills surrounding Jericó. It's about a 20-25 minute walk into town, which passes through quiet countryside and steep roads. You can also access the hotel by car, tuktuk or moto. It's not fancy but a good representation of a farm house in the countryside of Colombia. There is also an onsite restaurant that is very good. The most important is the owners. Luisa is very kind and easy to talk to. I do not knowing much Spanish, but she was very patient to help me and try her best to communicate. I would highly recommend this hotel looking for a simple, quiet and affordable place to stay away from the town.
This finca hotel is a reasonable walking distance from Jericó. Their grounds are set back from the road and lots of great areas to enjoy nature. Food is typical & traditional for the region. Friends have stayed for extended periods and really enjoyed the hotel.
What we thought would be a quite and warm-weathere retreat was a small disappointment. This house, a typical farm house in the country, has been remodeled to accomodate guests, however the road to get to it is something of a challenge for town cars as the road getting to it is unpaved.
