From the moment we arrived at La Licorne, we were greeted with genuine warmth and gracious hospitality. The staff made us feel at home instantly — every single team member went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and cared for. Whether we were heading out for the day or returning in the evening, we were always met with a smile and a kind word, creating an atmosphere of true comfort and class. Our room was fresh, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable — the kind of space you look forward to returning to after a day of exploring. The spa was beautifully designed and offered a tranquil space to relax and unwind. While the requirement to reserve and the once-a-day limit felt a bit restrictive, the serene environment and refreshing facilities still made it a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was a delight — elegant, satisfying, and thoughtfully curated. The bar area and cigar room added a refined touch, offering cozy corners to unwind in the evenings. La Licorne is not just a hotel — it’s a full experience of charm, quality, and heartfelt service. We leave with fond memories and look forward to returning.

Excellent location and beautiful setting. Very convenient parking which was essential as this was a stop off. Service excellent throughout and at every interaction. On arrival we were allocated a room that smelt unpleasant - we were given a new room immediately without fuss. Particular note on the bar - nice atmosphere, superb measures and an excellent wine list. Much better value than Grand Hotel Le Cloche (where we stayed on the way down) and better quality too. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Breakfast excellent too.

Well located if exploring the old city. Breakfast staff not very friendly and limited options for breakfast considering that this is a four star hotel in one of the richest regions of France. Buffet was being refilled systematically. Rooms clean and renovated. Reception staff excellent.
