If you’re thinking of booking - go for it. It’s a beautiful and unique hotel. You feel like you have gone back in time or could be in a Disney castle. The views are stunning, the service was some of the best we received in 3 weeks in Italy, and the rooms are so interesting and beautiful. We wished we had stayed multiple nights but unfortunately only booked 1! A short (but steep) walk to the restaurants and bars, and up to the statue of Christ if you want a workout! The pool is clean, great breakfast with gluten-free options, and super helpful staff. People commenting on the rooms and bathrooms being an issue are probably expecting more modern surroundings. See the charm and beauty and you’ll have the best time here.
This was a fabulous place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and set above the town with great views across the valley. It's a historic building with tons of character. The pool and garden are really well kept Breakfast is top class Staff are all really lovely They kindly assist parking your car which is great given the narrow roads and access to parking We loved this hotel and would come back. It has been a highlight of our trip to Italy
Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views! We stayed for a night between our stays in Sorrento and Matera, we left wishing we could have stayed for longer. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The pool area is beautiful with amazing views of the town. We will definitely come back!
