La María Hotel Boutique

Wow, just wow! This hotel and staff were beyond our expectations! My husband and I stayed for 5 days during our 2 week honeymoon. We were greeted with a glass of wine upon our arrival which was such a nice surprise after a long day of travel. The room smelled so good! And it was soo luxurious, no detail was forgotten. And the breakfast every morning was our favorite part!! The stay was so so kind and really made our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you La Maria!! Muchisimas Gracias!!

We stayed at La Maria for two nights in November and loved our stay. It was not our first time in Mendoza or our first time staying in Chacras, but it was our first time staying at La Maria as it opened in 2024. It is a 7 room boutique hotel that has incredibly spacious rooms - with saunas. The details were thought through when building this hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and you can have it delivered to your room or eat it in the dining room. We did one of each and were the only ones in the dining room. This is a great hotel to explore the wineries of Mendoza, but if you're looking for a hotel to just hang out at this wouldn't be a great fit as there isn't much outside of your room. It is walking distance to a couple of restaurants in Chacras and driving distance to the main part of Chacras. We would stay here again and I wouldn't hesitate to book clients here.

Overall, this is a cozy little boutique hotel with only 7 rooms which enables the staff to really take care of all guests on a highly personal level putting the service level above similar options in the area. The service at this hotel it truly exceptional. They are available 24/7 and help you do absolutely everything from booking restaurants to wineries and providing recommendations for all of these. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and individually customized which creates a unique comfort. The breakfast is good but doesn't offer specialized coffees. Only standard french press. Location is good as you are relatively close to some of the best wineries in the region. Unfortunately, we booked the only room without a private hot tub and didn't realize it. If you get this room it really cuts down on your options of things to do on site especially with the summer heat. I would say the price/value ratio compared to similar resorts for this room is not aligned as the site lacks any shared facilities outside the room itself besides a firepit leaving you with limited on site activities. It also misses out on a few of the details I would expect to see at a resort priced at this level such as complimentary daily water bottles or free chocolates. The additional charges for these is quite obscene (10 USD for 3 chocolates). Therefore I can't give it 5 stars.
