La Mon Hotel And Country Club

I spent one night at La Mon Hotel & Country Club and was overall very pleased with my stay. The hotel is located just outside Belfast in a quiet, green setting - ideal for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. The location is pleasantly quiet, but still easily accessible by car. My room was surprisingly large and offered plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. It was clean, well-kept and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was particularly good: it was very plentiful, fresh and varied. From hot dishes and fresh fruit to pastries and juices - there really is something to suit everyone's taste. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and attentive, which added to the positive overall impression. Even though I only spent one night there, I could feel the wellness character of the hotel. For a longer stay, I would also like to try out the leisure facilities such as the pool or the fitness area, which made a very good impression. Overall, I can recommend La Mon Hotel & Country Club to anyone looking for a quiet hotel with good service and a delicious breakfast near Belfast.

Was staying over as attended a wedding. The venue is outstanding, the room was very comfortable. My only negative comment was the table service at the wedding meal. It was quite a wait between courses, and when the dishes were being cleared, only part of the table was cleared , some forgotten about. I am putting this down to waiting staff being busy All in all a pleasant stay

Beautiful and modern on outside. Very dated as you go further in. Rooms good size but very outdated. The pool area very grubby and run down, bit off putting as the tiles had a layer of scum on them. Shower knobs wasn’t working in pool area. Steam room was the worst part. Looked to be mould all over it. Tiles crumbling and grout coming off around pool also. No private rooms to change had to go into toilet. Menu option was the same options for lunch time very poor selection and staff all gathered around the door area looking clueless and bored was a bit awkward when waiting for someone to call us for a table. Has so much potential but seems to be ignored. Bed was massive but pillows were so uncomfortable I had to eventually sleep without them. Had a massage but felt like the lady was making up the massage as she was going along. Bed had an uneven leg so I was constantly wobbling as she worked on me. Room was freezing too and I left feeling more uneasy as I arrived. Again has so much potential and staff is lovely. I personally wouldn’t come back here
