La Noria

We are a family of four, with two daughters, and stayed at "La Noria" from 15 to 20 April for our holidays. The house, an ancient peasant house that belonged to Valentina's grandfather, has been completely renovated with great care, managing to preserve the rustic and authentic soul of the origins intact. The spaces are large and generous, almost excessive for a family like ours: there are in fact three bedrooms and two bathrooms with large showers. The beds are spacious and very comfortable, and the shutters allow for total darkness — for me, a fundamental detail for sleeping well, and not always a given. The acoustic insulation also guarantees high comfort. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and everything you need for cooking. We also greatly appreciated the small "food starter kit" offered upon arrival, with oil, salt, sugar, coffee and bottled water. Outside there is a large veranda and a beautiful garden, where we were lucky enough to collect the last oranges of the season and many genuine lemons. We were also able to admire the "noria", the ancient device operated by animals for lifting water from the well, from which the house takes its name. Private parking is also available, accessible with a little care when manoeuvring. The welcome and availability of Ninella, Valentina's mother, were truly impeccable. Finding such a well-kept and welcoming house is not at all a given: it contributed decisively to the complete success and happiness of our Sicilian holiday. I really hope that future guests know how to appreciate and respect this little gem.

We are a family of five. We stayed in this house from July 19th to 27th. It's a beautiful place, very well-maintained with everything you need, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic, just outside the city in a very quiet area. My children had a great time and have already asked to return next year.

A truly fantastic place, spacious veranda patio overlooking the garden, a splendid shared loggia for guests, consisting of a lounge/living room and kitchen. 2 double bedrooms on the sides of the loggia with respective bathrooms.
