La Palette

We had a wonderful vacation at this hotel situated in a very quiet and peaceful location. The owners are really kind and nothing was too much trouble. The room was larger than average, it was delightfully prepared and the bed was a super king size. Really beautiful and welcoming. The restaurant is 30 seconds from the hotel, the menu is varied and the service is impeccable. They also have a well-stocked cellar with the best wines. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves attention to detail, good food and comfort.

We ate at the restaurant but didn’t stay at the hotel. The restaurant was an amazing experience. I had the Chef’s surprise menu. Everything was incredible. The presentation, the flavors, the experience, all top notch. Add to that beautiful local wines and I think I died and went to heaven!

HOTEL (scroll down for restaurant) What a disastrous experience! This hotel is outdated and kept extremely poorly. There is no elevator, no A/C, and no proper lighting on the stairs. The whole place is covered in dusty carpet, terrible for allergic individuals like me. The room was a nightmare: the bathroom was full of mold and there were spiders and other insects wandering around. When confronted with pictures from the room, the receptionist didn't even apologize for the inconvenience (we didn't use the bathroom except for basic needs due to its hygienic conditions) and was extremely rude. Speaking of the receptionist, check-out time is 11:00. We were literally just leaving the room (door open) at 11:01 when the phone started ringing and we were told we were late. Perhaps they should worry about their housekeeping and renovating their hotel, rather than yelling at guests for a ONE MINUTE delay. Avoid this place at all costs! RESTAURANT Though overpriced, the food and service were good: the only positive experience about our stay.
