Comfortable Luxury Wonderful accommodation in a very convenient location for restaurants in Franschoek Main Rd. Our room was very well appointed, very comfortable with tea/coffee facilities. The garden and pool area was immaculate and attractive for sitting and relaxing. Staff were also very friendly and helpful, we’d love to return for another break soon.
Stayed here for a weekend of wine and friendship. Spacious and comfortable rooms with shared living areas to enjoy. Amazing breakfast and great location close to town and wine tram start and end.
La Réverie is the most memorable from two weeks of Garden Route Guesthouses. They just seem to take pride in being great hosts. In other words, they don't cut corners where they could get away with it. The breakfast, the pool area and the room all demonstrated an attention to detail and a thoughtfulness which you wouldn't necessarily expect from a reasonably priced guesthouse where most customers only stay 1-2 nights. This was the only pool we actually used during the trip - it is a great place for a nap in the sun after a heady day of wine tastings. The laundry service is, however, simply an absurd rip-off. Long story short, it cost around 4 times the price of any other laundry service we saw. They couldn't provide prices in advance. Plus, they don't accept underwear.
