Levi is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect spot to enjoy our drinks, offering great recommendations for both drinks and bites while sharing wonderful stories about the farm. Our three-course dinner was a true delight—both visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. Every dish was crafted with care, and the combination of flavors was simply outstanding. The wines are great. A truly memorable experience! The view while having diner is truly stunning. Make sure you opt for a reservation.
We celebrated the 60th birthday of my mother here with the Chef’s Table Experience dinner. It started with a glass of bubbles in the beautiful garden of the restaurant. You have a magnificent view on the Franschhoek Valley, incredible! The dinner is a truly lovely experience with chef Peters. It offers you a private experience where the chef comes and explains all his dishes to your table. He makes time for a chat & he is truly passionate about the food he brings to the table. Dishes were incredible (& large portions!), so you will not go home hungry. All the staff is very kind & they treat you like you are the VIPS. I would highly recommend this restaurant & especially the Chef’s Table Experience.
Beautiful! We stayed two nights in a suite overlooking the vineyard. Fireplace, private pool (although too cold for that) and amazing views. The service was outstanding. We only did room service for the “cake of the day” - delicious. Ate in the restaurant for all our meals. Food was wonderful and the portions VERY generous. Our favorite was the sea bass and corn-potato soup. Avron, the front of house manager in the restaurant bent over backwards to provide outstanding service. We ended our stay with a wine-tasting. Heinrich did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. His priority was to cater to the guest. We didn’t get to spend much time in town as it was pouring rain- but if you can visit Franschoek, I would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
