La Piconera And Spa

I came here with my partner for a weekend stay and everything was amazing! It’s tranquil and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was amazing, they served us a homemade lime butter that was very nice. The spa treatment was excellent, the staffs were helpful. I didn’t get to try the pool but it seemed nice. We are already planning to return. Next time we want to stay longer… 2 nights would be better

Edited for more objectivity in language, the owner was kind to reply: I honestly thought a lot before posting this review. The hotel itself is nice, clean, has a nice intake process. So my problems come with the link to the restaurant. Note there is nothing else for a coffee or food in a 2 km area.... I cannot fathom a 4 star hotel that doesn't have a coffee. So yeah, for 250 euros a night, in this area, there is no coffee. If you dare to ask for one, you will be asked to pay for full breakfast, even if you don't do breakfast and only want to pay for a coffee. Oh, and dare not leave the room after actual getting that coffee from staff (whilst you are still checked in ) cause the entire breakfast staff will already have a story for people. For us someone invented a 'flipping the finger' story...like who does that? It's honestly the first time in Spain we felt discriminated. As much as nature look amazing, I would never go back here again....i want to add that the reception persons tried to be helpful, but again for 250 euros a night we received this answer: 'if you have a thermos you can pay for multiple coffees at the bar in the evening and just drink them the next day'. I understand the breakfast place has a different management, but it's impossible to separate the two as there are no other coffee/tea facilities in the hotel.

Good place it seemed, but not welcoming and unfortunately a fraudulent rip-off from my experience. Looking at the initial image and branding it would be clear for me that you’re booking a hotel with a pool - and we did because of the pool, making the price high but we accepted. When arriving we realized there was a fine print and the extra charge for pool access was incredible. Sad to see. Issues: breakfast mediocre, windows didn’t hold and water came in one night, these lamps might not hold for long (see the video - don’t park your car close to it I’d propose). Oh, and don’t expect the wifi to work, use this hotel if you want to detox from the digital world.
