La Pirogue Mauritius

Our experience at La Pirogue was simply unforgettable. The hotel is stunning, with beautifully maintained facilities and a spectacular setting. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure that nothing is missing and making you feel special at all times. We came here to celebrate our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with numerous thoughtful touches that made the start of our stay magical. We were even invited to a dinner at one of the hotel’s bars, where every detail had been perfectly arranged. The food was delicious, and the service from the staff was simply outstanding. We would like to give special thanks to Vikash and Nigel, who made our honeymoon dinner even more special with their kindness, professionalism, and impeccable attention to detail. I would 100% recommend La Pirogue to anyone looking for a unique experience with flawless service and an unforgettable atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

La Pirogue is the most luxurious place, and full of Mauritian charm. The most beautiful stretch of beach with clear waters, and glorious sun sets. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed sampling all the hospitality offerings. Everyone is happy to help and full of smiles. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, and we would definitely return.

We stayed at La Pirogue and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel has such a charming concept, unlike the usual, with bungalows spread across the garden, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The service was fantastic. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special thanks to Jean-Luc, who looked after us every day with genuine kindness and professionalism. We also want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the lady who made the crepes (I don’t know her name). Every day she greeted me with a huge smile and made me feel so welcome. The location is absolutely great, one of the less windy areas of the island, and the beach right in front of the hotel is among the cleanest we’ve seen, with calm, relaxing waters. The facilities were all very well maintained. There were plenty of leisure options in the gardens, like mini-golf and a giant chessboard, and on the beach, things like stand-up paddleboards and pedal boats. The hotel also organized activities for guests, but in a very relaxed way, so anyone who just wanted to chill out could do so without being disturbed. One small improvement could be the addition of bicycles for guests to explore the area at their own pace. The only minor downside was a slight occasional sewage smell in some areas, but it was never really bothersome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would wholeheartedly recommend La Pirogue to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway.
