The front desk staff knows English which was a big help. The overall feel is more upscale than a typical LQ hotel, but the room is rather small. Not an issue for me though. Maybe I'm just not familiar with "real" Mexican food, but the breakfast was fantastic.
The pool was nasty. The guy at front desk was very nice and said he would talk to manager next day and everything worked out for us. Said they would call maintenance and he would come in an hour to clean it but we had to leave. There was actually no chemicals in the pool..they also had a blow up pool for some reason who knows why. The room was ok.
Nice place to stay. Above the average US La Quinta. The breakfast was okay but not as good as some other places in Mexico. We arrived late at night and they didn't let us use the shuttle to get some food and that we really didn't like specially that we don't speak Spanish.
