We had a wonderful experience at La Quinta. Everyone at check-in and throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, very comfortable, and equipped with high-end amenities. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews here, but our stay exceeded expectations—and we’ll definitely be back.
La Quinta Resort is a wonderful place to get away from the city! The ambience is like that of a Mexican hacienda. The room is comfortable and spacious. The service is ex excellent with everyone being friendly and polite. The pool is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. which is a plus for people like me who don't like crowds. Being is the property is a relaxing way to decompress from the stress of daily living!
We were here for a friend’s wedding and overall had a wonderful experience. The property was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was generally friendly. That said, a couple of things fell short. Despite prior requests, our group wasn’t placed together in a room block, which was disappointing given the nature of the trip. Also, the pool closing at 10pm felt restrictive—especially since we were being quiet and respectful. For the price we paid, it would’ve been nice to have the option to enjoy a peaceful late-night swim. This should not be monitored. Swim at your own risk… The adult pool didn’t have nearly enough chairs unless you paid for a cabana. It made it hard to relax without feeling pressured to spend more. On a positive note, I had a bad ankle during our stay and was icing it while watching friends at the pickleball courts. The staff was kind enough to provide a cart to take us back to our rooms—something I really appreciated. One major downside during our stay was the lack of attention to the pools outside the villas. Each morning, the pools were noticeably littered with leaves and debris, and we had to call multiple times just to get someone to come clean them. It really took away from the experience, especially when you’re expecting a higher-end, relaxing environment. For the price point, basic upkeep like this should be a given. All in all, it’s a beautiful place with a lot to offer, but there’s definitely room for improvement in guest accommodations and flexibility.
