Unfortunately this is a place where they do not have a great hotel experience and it is noticeable in multiple omissions and mistakes, to name a few: Poor room design, the communication between bathrooms and bedroom is a half height so if it is night and you are sleeping and your roommate goes to the bathroom you will be woken up by the light, noise and smells, the entry of natural light is not well controlled either, there are slots that let the light of dawn through, if you close the door of your room it will not hold the key making it necessary to have the key with you, staff without uniform etc, on the other hand the view of the lake is beautiful and the gardens well kept as well as the pool. Be careful all the rooms have the same cost but only the upper floor facing the lake are worth it.
I wish that I had read the review about no AC. I stayed for 6 nights and didn't sleep well any night. It was 90 outside during my trip may 17 to 23. Hotel is probably nice when you don't need AC. Staff brought me an electric fan to use.
I stayed at this place from June 1-4. The location is prime and the pool is great but... unfortunately all the furnishings are dated and in need of replacement. I regret not doing more research on this place because the rooms are NOT air conditioned. Oof! we arrived in the afternoon and when we walked in to the room we almost fainted because it was super hot and the realization that there are no AC units almost took us out. I would not recommend staying overnight here in the summer. You will not be able to sleep comfortably or spend much time in the room during the day. The only comfortable time was probably around 3am until probably 8. After that, you better have a plan to be elsewhere. The one thing i did appreciate was the staff. They were all very nice and helpful. Kudos to them!
