Great place if you are chasing paradise, meet the superfriendly french speaking owners Stephane and Laurie to brush up your french and taste a well prepared french breakfast... what a pool and what a surroundings near the sea and local shops! Fresh baguette etc every day! Touring the island from this base is wonderful and easy, you will see lava, flowers, waterfalls, waves, beaches, mountains, lush vegetation, but also the finest supermarkets and local restaurants. Sport or relax. And you can sit at your terrace sipping whatever you like with your own cuisine products if you enjoy cooking in your chalet... wondering why to leave at all....

A true little corner of paradise in Saint-Joseph, very close to the Langevin River and its magnificent natural surroundings. The setting is superb, very peaceful, with a large swimming pool and a spa for adults: perfect for relaxing. The bungalows are pretty, comfortable, and you sleep very well thanks to the comfortable bedding. The meals are delicious, perhaps a little light in quantity, but of very good quality. The welcome is warm and attentive, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside: the shower pressure, a little weak. But other than that, it was great, and I plan to return!

AVOID!! I booked this accomodation via Booking where it was clearly listed that the air conditioning is in the facilities. However, after talking directly to the property owner, it turned out that the air conditioning doesn't work at the moment (because they consider it not necessary). Which was NOT mentioned ANYWHERE on booking! After that, I kindly requested a refund for my reservation since it's not my problem that they in fact LIE about their available facilities! This request was of course declined. Then I talked to Booking several times, and already Booking (!!) requested them to refund me, which they again rejected!! Booking also issued several complaints against this property for listing irrelevant facility (big shoutout to their customer service). And the cherry on top of the cake was that the property owner told me I MUST SPEAK FRENCH to them coz it's the RULE of their property and that they will push me out of their property if I don't respect this RULE 🤯 In the end, Booking offered me a small compensation from their side because it's absolutely NOT my fault what happened. I did NOT get any refund or apology from the property, just rudeness!! They only suggested me to come in October when they'll have a working air conditioning, Lol, very helpful.
