La Siesta Hotel Al Sokhna

We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. There were lots of staff on site. The biggest assest are the staff. There is beach access across the road, it is very good for swimming. The breakfast was pleasant and basic. The swimming pool is great with easy access steps leading to a deep large pool. There is a toddler pool. The WiFi works but is slow.

La Siesta has a stunning mountainside location, offering sea views from all rooms, which is a major plus. The pool is large and well-maintained, adding to the relaxing vibe. However, several aspects could be improved for a better guest experience. Rooms: The accommodations need upgrading, and the ACs often didn’t work properly, which was a big issue during my summer stays. Breakfast: The portions are small for the price, leaving much to be desired. Lunch & Dinner: The menu offers good portion sizes and above-average taste, though still pricier than average. Dining: The restaurant is quite small, and with limited staff, service becomes extremely slow—especially on public holidays, so expect long delays if the hotel is busy. Beach Access: While there is beach access, you have to cross the main road to reach it. Don’t expect soft sand—the seating is on pontoons, and availability is very limited on busy days. Parking: There’s sufficient parking space, but it’s unshaded, which can be inconvenient in hot weather. Overall, La Siesta has potential thanks to its scenic location and pool, but maintenance, service speed, and facilities need attention to justify a higher rating.

AC not working, restaurant serves frozen food not fresh, hotel couldn’t even open my room due to them not having a spare key, pool isn’t heated because apparently the heater is broken, everything in this hotel needs fixing, apart from the staff being very friendly and welcoming, this hotel is actually trash, worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
