The front desk were the best! Location is great and near airport. Very relaxing. Beautiful views. However, the room was not up to par. Water damage, mold, and black particles covered floor nightly around the bed and floors from vents. It was hard to breath and concerning. I passed along the pictures to staff. Otherwise great property.

Restaurant review only. While visiting Calvi, we came here for dinner one evening. Beautiful Genovese estate with most wonderful gardens (though nearby airport’s landings and takeoffs do mess with the overall ambiance). Staff was courteous and very polite to greet us and show us to the table. Again, the open air seating in the garden was marvelous. Restaurant service was a let down: the wait staff was young and very inexperienced. Sommelier brought the wine list but the wine order was taken by the waitress whose response to a request for local light red wine recommendation was “what is your budget.” It went down hill from there. We did stay the night and tasted numerous dishes, all of which were presented beautifully and with great artistic flair. Regrettably, most of the dishes were rather bland in taste and the visual was not matched by the palate’s expectations. Overall we enjoyed the evening very much though we did leave a bit disappointed but at the same time we were glad that we chose to stay at another R&C property (La Villa) and not this one.

Beautiful garden and attentive staff just isn’t enough to claim 5 stars. At 550€ a night( in Corsica) we did expect at least soundproof windows( as the hotel is located 5 min from the airport), good WiFi( you get disconnected on you way to the balcony or to the restroom), modern and well functioning AC, a proper WALL between our room and the guests next door room( it was only a door that was locked. I could hear our neighbors like they were right next to me), somewhat interesting design?( the interior is giving Holiday Inn in the middle of nowhere), all the magazines in the room were from 2023( it’s July 2025), the breakfast was just average. I’m absolutely confused which “magical experience” most of the people are talking about here. I had no pleasure of coming back to this hotel for the night. It would look great in Vegas if we were in 1985.
