La Tenuta di Castelvecchio means the gardens of the old castle, but not to us: to us, it stands for paradise in a warm, family-like surrounding. We’re staying here for the second time in three years now and it has everything to offer that a good vacation needs. The owners are very kind and service minded, always in for a small talk! Their capability of English is very good. The rooms are big enough and well cleaned. The swimming pool is very beautiful, but so are the lavendel fields, the olive trees, etc. The main entrance road might surprise you at first, but after two or three times driving you’re getting used to it. In the end to us the very best stay for a sunvacay! ☀️ and if you’re thinking about having diner at La Tenuta, we can warmly recommend this: La Nonna is a perfect cook and serves a typical Italian 4 courses diner!
One star is too much. For this price, they don't even give you new towels. There is a pool but towels are not provided-they should inform beforehand. Room full of dust!!!! And PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: they are hunters so they shot here in the evening. During the day you can admire deer and at night they kill and serve them on a plate. Dinner is very expensive and poor quality.
Everything was bad! People here are very arrogant and they ignore you completely even though it is an isolated place, you depend completely on them. And they shot animals! You can admire the deer and then they will serve them on your child’s plate!!!!
